My life be like...

a whole lot of Rockstar and a whole lot of the Bible.

Yesterday was a great day at work and in life. I ended up going on a Pseudo-date even, and loved every minute of it.

now I'm going to go hang out at middle school basketball games, with a high school and a sixth grader... such and awesomely awkward trio.

The other day, I sat down and cried in the grocery store spice aisle... that sums up my life right now... no highpoint no lowpoint... just spice aisle tears

Sunday Sunday

So today was church, an awkward movie... perhaps a need for a DTR, another week goodbye, church again, and toy story three with the sis-in-law.

Highpoint: had dinner at the JV house yet again, which they presented as a thank-you for giving Liz a ride to the airport. (she'll be gone for a week... LAME-SAUCE.
Lowpoint: upon arriving at the airport, I ran into one of the high school girls that does Wyldlife with me. She informed me that she and a group of other girls have decided that Leah and I are meant for each other. To say it simply, NO. Leah is almost 30... not my type at all... and is nothing more than a good friend. This high school girl then informed me that I need to "let her down easy". This is not a conversation I want to have... this is not a person I want to have this conversation with.
Funny story of the day: I fell asleep while running the sound at church today... with my face on the sound board... Not so awesome.
Notable happenings: My sis-in-law gave me a TV for my room! YAY!!!
Quote of the day: Substitute picture of the day... Look at this nugget from "The Last Puppy" Please note the puppy coming head first out of mommy.

Highpoint: A wonderful night at the JV (jesuit volunteer) house here in sitka. Sushi, beer, and a bit o' dance party.... no complaints.
Lowpoint: Waking up at noon to an empty home.
Notable happening: Great life conversations with Liz. Life conversations just solidify friendships for me, so it was nice to get that.
Funny story of the day: Tonight Jackie (another JV and thus one of Liz's roommates) tried to teach me a dance move called "the pancake". Let me just say... I wasn't getting it, which made me uncomfortable, because everyone was watching me. Then Jackie tried to physically assist me in doing this dance move... the touching and controlling involved here also made me uncomfortable. Then because assisting face to face wasn't working so well, Jackie decided to move around me and try to help me while standing behind me. Without thinking I may have blurted out, "I don't exactly like to be controlled from behind". Which rounds out the Quote of the day as well.

Today was a really good day. I spent some time with the family, and some time with Leah and Aaron, then the JV house. I'm starting to feel like I'm coming into a life here in Sitka... I don't exactly hate it.

High low revisited...

So scratch anything I said about today... because the last few hours have been amazing!! It isn't everyday that you end up being the DD for your boss, and her husband, and a coworker that you have to put to bed...

Also... my coworker's cat bites her, but only when she's drunk. Another reason I will never get a cat.

Here comes the comeback

After waking up at 7 AM, getting ready to work only to discover that my car was gone (thanks pop...) Took my mom to work, to make it to my 8 AM meeting (which was hellish), I spent the day with 4 co-workers and 5 kids with behavioral disorders. Doesn't sound like the makings of an awesome day, but it was.

Highpoint: Watching Toy Story 3, and talking about bullying... Doesn't sound like a blast, but hearing that "LOTSO is just a mean bear, which is weird 'cause he's pink" just has to make you smile.
Lowpoint: my coworkers seemed to be in a pretty bad mood all day... which was rough. Also, having my car "disappear" was pretty aggravating.
Notable happening: I don't know... I guess I came home tonight... and actually spent time around my family. That hasn't happened in weeks. I usually come home and go to bed now.
Irritation of the day: people that don't text back.
Funny story of the day: Nothing funny today... I don't think I laughed at all... sad day.

For yesterday:
Yesterday after work (which I wouldn't even be able to tell you what happened yesterday at work, it's a blur) I hung out with my friend Liz, who just got back into town. We went to the brewery, and after a sample and a pint, I may have been gone. Don't now if it was the lack of sleep, or mild dehydration, but I was. I may have flung my glass at her... not a full on throw... but a light toss. Needless to say it shattered. And this was part of my highpoint. Highpoint continued, from there we went to my former place of employment, where we saw my former boss... who I haven't seen since Halloween.... when I may or may not have made out with her. needless to say, she's early 40's.... so Liz and i enjoy some food and some fun while laughing out heads off. It was a great time, and made me glad to be alive.

Lowpoint: we planned to celebrate a client's birthday today (which I spent the week planning an icarly themed birthday (which required a lot of research as *surprise* I don't watch that show). So I had pre-made sweet tye-dyed smoothies, spaghetti tacos, a birthday cake that looked like a pear-phone, and planned a number or icarly themed activities. I pre-made everything because I had to rush from a meeting at another place in town back to the center for the party. Getting into my car to head back, my car died. My coworker had to come pick me up, and I was late to the party that I had planned... Add to this situation kids with behavioral issues, and it was just a gnarly situation.
Noteable happenings: Talking with Liz about the perfect girl for me... and her just not understanding how Zooey Deschanel is the perfect woman for me.
Irritation of the day: my car!
Funny story of the day: In my shit-show of a life, there are too many funny stories, when I get out in publice.
Oh and addition: quotes of the day "but if they dated it would be the nicks.... and they have so much in common... like they're both from New York! They could be the New York Nicks!!" or "She is lying... both with her lips and with her hips"

Life is in such a strange place right now....

I have a job I love, in a place I hate, surrounded by people I cant dive into real relationship with...

I'm not happy, but I'm not sad.

and for twenty minutes I've contemplated if I need to pee or not...(I don't)

I just read through all of my blogs on here.... my life has taken some strange turns... and it's nice to remember some funny things.
The highpoint/lowpoint needs to make a comeback.
